Family tent with living room and sunroof, sewn-in floor tub, waterproof with 5000mm water column
The spacious 10T camping tent Devonport Devonport five tunnel tent is suitable as accommodation for various outdoor activities. The tunnel tent offers sleeping places for a total of five people.
The camping tent has a comfortable height for standing upright. Being able to move comfortably is an advantage over smaller dome or tunnel tents. Of course there is also enough space for some camping equipment and luggage. The floor tarpaulin in the living room and sleeping cabin is sewn tightly to the tent to prevent dirt and rising ground moisture. The inner tent has a sewn-in bottom tray.
Thanks to its high water column and sealed seams, the outer tent remains waterproof even in heavy and prolonged rain. A large entrance leads to the awning. There is also a side entrance. The large anteroom offers ample space for your camping equipment and various pieces of furniture. Ventilation openings ensure a pleasant climate in the tent, even if the entrance doors are sometimes closed. The ventilation systems are equipped with rain protection.
The frame is made of fibreglass and very stable. At the same time, it is lighter than steel rods during transport. The camping pleasure begins after just a few minutes, because the setting up is child´s play and quickly done. Two persons are ideal for setting up.
Whether as a family tent in summer holidays, camping tent for the weekend trip, party tent at festivals or in the garden camp with the children - with this portal tent you are well equipped.
Floor plan and other dimensions
The drawing shows the most important dimensions of the tent. Delivery includes: Outer tent, sleeping cabin, floor tarpaulin, poles, pegs, guy lines and transport bag.
Waterproof - 5000 mm
The outer tent is made of polyurethane coated polyester fabric. It is waterproof, robust and easy to clean. The seams are double-edged and have a double seam. On the inside the tent seams were glued with a seam tape and sealed waterproof. The water column of the tent material is tested according to DIN EN 20811:1992 with the aid of a hydrostatic head tester. According to DIN standard, a top tent is considered waterproof from 1500 mm upwards.
Entrance awning and sleeping cabin
The living room can be entered through the main entrance in the front or alternatively through the side entrance. Like the side entrance, the front door can be rolled up to the left and fastened with toggle locks.
Spacious, detachable sleeping cabin
The door to the sleeping cabin was designed as a D-door. It is also rolled up and fastened laterally. A mosquito net was incorporated in the upper third of the door for ideal ventilation. This can be closed from the inside if required. The spacious sleeping cabin is suspended from the standing external scaffold when erected. A tarpaulin is sewn in to protect against dirt and vermin. Likewise, no water can penetrate.
zippers with cover strip
The zippers of the entrance doors are attached to the outer tent with sturdy double seams. The high-quality zipper teeth and a robust metal slider guarantee a long service life and easy operation. An external cover strip protects the zipper and prevents water from entering the tent.
Window with cover
The awning is flooded with light and bright through two large polyglass windows installed next to the front entrance. Further windows are also installed on the sides. To protect privacy, the windows are equipped with an internal cover. This is simply attached to the tent wall at three points. When the window is open, the cover is quickly and comfortably stuffed into the sewn-in corner pocket.
Fibreglass poles and pegs
The frame is made of fibreglass. Each sheet consists of several segments, a rubber band running through the rods connects them to form a sheet. The segments are simply interlocked for assembly. Coloured markings on the pole curve and outer tent make it easier to set up. The question of where to put which bar is not necessary. The necessary steel pegs are also included in the scope of delivery for anchoring the tent lines to the ground and for securing the tent against wind.
Transport bag with handles
At some point, unfortunately, every holiday ends and apart from all the camping equipment, the tent has to be packed up again and stowed away safely. It´s annoying if the supplied pack is too small and the tent doesn´t want to come in again. The tent bags are robust and so large that the packing of tent and accessories is easy even after the first use of the camping tent.
